About
I am an architect who is passionate about great architecture for people. I have been lucky enough to have worked on many great projects with many great architects over the past 15 years, winning lots of architectural prizes along the way.
I have collaborated with artists, photographers, makers, as well as fantastic clients on this journey. Working with friendly, talented people is something that I love doing.
I now run my own architecture practice called Natureworks Design which has a focus on sustainability and natural materials. I am particularly interested in environmental issues and in our relationship with nature. I am part of the Architects Climate Action Network and have campaigned for the UK government to do more to protect and enhance the wildlife we have in the UK.
I believe good education is key if we want to have better designed world around us. In 2018 I founded Architecture Academy, which I set up as a vehicle to share knowledge about the built environment. Its aim is to help make the world a happier and more beautiful place, through a better understanding of the issues facing the built environment. I have been a mentor to students at Sheffield University and am currently an external tutor at the Welsh School of Architecture.
On my blog I enjoy writing about pretty much everything from politics and philosophy to television and technology.
