Further Information

The age of the universe is said to be about 13.8 billion years old. Or 13.77 billion years plus or minus 40 million to be a bit more exact. When I first heard this I was a bit surprised. I thought it was a lot older. The first question I had. What was happening before we had a universe? If there was nothing, how did it start?

This t-shirt celebrates these questions. It celebrates our achievement in being able to calculate its age. It celebrates the very existence of the universe. But perhaps most importantly, it celebrates our human curiosity to know more about our existence. To know more about what the universe is and where it comes from.

Earth

Earth is the only place known to harbour life in the whole of the universe. We live on it! There doesn’t seem to be life anywhere else. The age of the earth is said to be 4.543 billion years old plus or minus 50million years. The t-shirt celebrates the age of the earth. It celebrates our life on it.
